I only had the pleasure of meeting Bob a hand full of times, all of which involved copious amounts of beer in either the Old Queens Head or the Jockey. I remember good chats and debates on whatever was in the news at the time but mainly just embarrassing stories about Tom growing up. He was such a lovely man and truly sorry for your loss.
